٨٣٢ - عبيد الله بن علي بن نصر بن حمزة أبو بكر بن أبي الفرج بن المارستانية (¬٢): طلب الحديث وجمع وادعى الحفظ والنقل عمن لم يدركه فكذبه الناس وانتسب إلى أبي بكر الصديق دعوى منه وكان أبواه يخدمان المرستان ثم أنه روى عن أبيه في تاريخ عن القاضي أبي بكر وكان ذا جرأة وقحة، وكان منتميا إلى علم الفلسفة والطب وقد سمع من شهدة وابن يوسف وابن شاتيل وادعى فيما زوره أنه سمع من الأرموي، وكان قد سوّد تاريخا لبغداد. توفي في سنة تسع وتسعين وخمسمائة فيآخرها.
