٧٩٥ - عبد الله بن محمد بن جرير بن أبي الحسن القرشي: من ولد سعيد بن العاص بن أمية، (كنيته) أبو محمد، سمع الكثير وكتب الكتب الكبار بخطه له ولغيره، وكان وراقا حسن الحظ مالكي المذهب، سمع القاضي أبا بكروأبا منصور القزاز ويحيى بن الطراح، وعبد الوهاب بن الأنماطي وأبا البدر الكرخي وأبا منصور بن خيرون وخلقا كثيرا. سمع منه عمر القرشي وإلياس بن جامع الإربلي وابن مشّق وظاهر أمره الصدق. ولد سنة عشر وخمسمائة وتوفي في رجب سنة اثنتين وثمانين ودفن بباب حرب.
