٧٦١ - عبد الله بن أحمد بن جعفر أبو جعفر الضرير المقرئ الواسطي (¬٢): قدم بغداد في صباه واستوطنها وكان يسكن بباب الأزج. قرأ القرآن على البارع أبي عبد الله وغيره وسمع منه ومن ابن الحصين وأبي الحسن بن الزاغوني وأبي غالب محمد بن الحسن الماوردي وجماعة، وأقرأ الناس وحدث. قرأت عليه: أخبركم أبو الفتح الكروخي أنبأنا أبو عروبة عبد الهادي بن شيخ الإسلام. فذكر حديثا. ولد سنة ثلاث وخمسمائة وتوفي يوم عرفة سنة إحدى وتسعين وخمسمائة ببغداد. (قلت: روى عنه يوسف بن خليل).
