٧٣٣ - صاعد بن علي بن محمد بن عمر أبو المعالي الواعظ: ولد ببغداد وصار إلى واسط فنشأ بها. ثم عاد إلى بغداد. ولقى صدر الدين وسمع معه من أبي الوقت عبد الأول وسمع هو بنفسه من ابن البطي وأبي النجيب عبد القاهر السهروردي وشهدة وخرج عن بغداد بعد السبعين وخمسمائة وسكن إربل وصار له بها قبول وحدث بها كثيرا. قرأت عليه بإربل: أخبرتكم شهدة. فذكر حديثا من جزء الحفار وقال لي: ولدت سنة سبع وثلاثين وخمسمائة تقريبا. (قلت: لقيه صدر الدين ولم يصح أنه سمع من أبي الوقت. قاله السيف أحمد بن عيسى، وقال: توفي سنة خمس وعشرين وستمائة. قلت: روى عنه أبو المحامد الزنجاني وجماعة).
