٦٨٦ - سعد بن طاهر بن علي بن المؤيد البلخي ثم الواسطي أبو الشكر المقرئ: صحب أبا الحسن صدقة بن وزير الواعظ وقدم معه بغداد سنة ثلاث وخمسين وخمسمائة، واستوطنها وتفقه بها وسمع من أحمد بن قفرجل وابن البطي وبالكوفة من أبي الحسن محمد بن محمد بن غبرة. أنبأنا ببغداد. أنبأنا ابن غبرة، فذكر حديثا من الزهد لابن فضيل. ولد سنة خمس وثلاثين وخمسمائة بواسط وتوفي في جمادى الأولى سنة سبع عشرة وستمائة ببغداد. (قلت: روى عنه الرزالي).
