٥٢٢ - أزهر بن عبد الوهاب بن أحمد بن حمزة بن ساكن أبو جعفر السباك (¬١): فاضل أديب، سمع الكثير وكتب ولازم عبد الوهاب الأنماطي فأكثر عنه وكان عبد الوهاب يثني عليه ويصفه بالحفظ، سمع أبا طالب بن يوسف وابن الحصين وهبة الله ابن الطبر وغيرهم، حدثنا عنه جماعة وسمع منه عمر القرشي ومحمد بن مبارك بن مشّق. ولد سنة تسع وتسعين وأربعمائة، وتوفي في المحرم سنة أربع وستين وخمسمائة.
