٥٠٨ - إسفنديار بن الموفق بن أبي علي بن محمد بن يحيى البوشنجي الأصل الواسطي المولد البغدادي الدار أبو الفصل الكاتب الواعظ: قرأ بالروايات الكثيرة بواسط على أبي الفتح المبارك بن أحمد بن زريق وغيره والأدب ببغداد على ابن الخشاب والكمال الأنباري وسمع ابن البطي وجماعة، وتولى كتابة الإنشاء سنة أربع وثمانين وخمسمائة. روى عنه ابن الدبيثي وكان غاليا في التشيع. توفي في ربيع الأول سنة خمس وعشرين وستمائة، في عشر التسعين، وهو جد الواعظ نجم الدين علي بن علي جد صاحبنا محمد.
