٤٧٠ - إبراهيم بن محمود بن نصر حماد أبو إسحاق بن أبي المجد بن الشعار الحراني الأصل البغدادي: عني بطلب الحديث وكتبته إلى أن توفي مع صلاح ومعرفة. أسمعه أبوه من أبي منصور بن خيرون وأبي عبد الله السلال والأرموي وجماعة وسمع هو بنفسه من نصر العكبري ومسعود ابن الحصين وهبة الله الشبلي ومحمد بن المادح فمن بعدهم حتى سمع من أقرانه وسمعوا منه، مثل أبي الحسن الزيدي وصبيح العطاري، وسمعت الحازمي يثنى عليه ويصفه بالحفظ ويقول: لو كان عاش ما كان يماثله أحد. توفي في رمضان سنة أربع وستين وخمسمائة في حياة أبيه وقد نيف على الثلاثين.
