٤٥٤ - أحمد بن أبي الوفاء بن عبد الرحمن بن عبد الصمد أبو الفتح البغدادي (¬١): سمع أبا القاسم بن بيان، وسافر إلى الشام وحدث بحلب، سمع منه الحافظ يوسف ابن أحمد وعمر بن علي القرشي هناك. (قلت: كان فقيها حنبليّا يعرف بابن الصائغ وكان يعرف بغلام أبي الخطاب لخدمته له. روى عنه أيضا. حدث عنه أبو القاسم ابن صصري وعبد الغني الحافظ وعبد الحق بن خلف وسليمان بن أحمد الفقيه وإبراهيم بن أبي الحسن الزيات وجماعة وابنه عبد الرزاق بن أحمد بن أبي الوفاء. وتوفي بحران في سنة خمس وسبعين وخمسمائة. ذكره ابن النجار فقال: سكن حران وكان يدرس بها ويفتي، ولد سنة تسعين وأربعمائة وتوفي سنة ست وسبعين وخمسمائة بحران).
