٤١٦ - أحمد بن محمد بن محمد بن محمد بن الحسين الفراء أبو العباس بن أبي يعلى الصغير (¬١): كان أحد العدول. سمع ابن الزاغوني وأبا الوقت وسعيد ابن البناء وخلقا وكتب بخطه كثيرا. قرأت عليه: أخبركم ابن البناء. فذكر حديثا. ولد أبو العباس بواسط حيث كان أبوه قاضيها سنة أربع وخمسمائة، وتوفي ببغداد في شعبان سنة إحدى عشرة وستمائة.
