٣٤٧ - أحمد بن زهير بن زهير بن محمد بن الفضل أبو العباس المعروف بملّة الأصبهاني (¬٣): سمع بها من أبي نهشل عبد الصمد العنبري وحدث ببغداد سنة أربع وستين وخمسمائة، أنبأنا عمر القرشي كتابة، أخبرنا أحمد بن زهير. فذكر حديثا. قال القرشي: ولد تقريبا سنة إحدى وخمسمائة. (قلت: وسمع ملّة من الحافظ ابن طاهر، روى عنه ابن قدامة وقريش بن سبيع). (ذكره ابن النجار ولم يذكر له وفاة. سمع الكثير من الحداد وطبقته ورحل فسمع من ابن الحصين والموجودين).
