٣٢٥ - محمد بن أبي الفرج بن معالي الموصلي أبو المعالي (¬١): قرأ على يحيى بن سعدون القرطبي وسمع من أبي الفضل الطوسي وقدم بغداد سنة اثنتين وسبعين وخمسمائة، وتفقه في مذهب الشافعي وقرأ الأدب على أبي البركات عبد الرحمن بن محمد الأنباري وأعاد بالمدرسة النظامية وأقرأ القرآن بالقراءات وحدث. مولده سنة تسع وثلاثين وخمسمائة. (قلت: عليه قرأ الشيخ عبد الصمد بن أبي الجيش وأبو الفرج بن الفويرة المكبر) وتوفي سنة إحدى وعشرين وستمائة.
