٢٩٧ - محمد بن وهب بن سلمان بن أحمد بن علي السلمي أبو المعالي بن أبي القاسم يعرف بابن الزنف الدمشقي: سمع نصر الله المصيصي وأبا الدر ياقوت التاجر وأبا القاسم بن البن. قدم بغداد حاجّا سنة خمس وستمائة وأقام بالمدرسة النظامية وحدث بها عن المذكورين وبإجازته من أبي الأسعد بن القشيري. أخبرنا محمد بن وهب، أخبرنا نصر الله، أخبرنا الخطيب. فذكر حديثا. قال لي: ولدت في رجب سنة ثلاث وثلاثين وخمسمائة. وحج وعاد إلى دمشق فتوفي في شعبان سنة ست وستمائة.
