عبد الله بن ذر سكن الشام وروى عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ويشك في سماعه. - حدثنا الحكم بن موسى نا الهيثم [بن حميد نا شور] عن علي بن أبي طلحة عن عبد الله بن ذر أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم [واصل بين يومين وليلة] فأتاه جبريل عليه السلام فقال: قبلت مواصلتك ولا تحل لأمتك من بعدك فإن الله [عز وجل قال: {ثم أتموا] الصيام إلى الليل} ، فلا تصوم بعد الليل وألزمني بالوتر قبل الفجر وسألت ربي عز وجل أن يكتب على أمتي سبحة الضحى فقال: تلك صلاة الملائكة من شاء صلاها ومن شاء تركها ومن صلاها فلا يصليها حتى يرتفع الضحى.
