٢٢٩ - محمد بن محمد بن هبة الله بن أحمد بن منصور المجهز أبو الثناء الواعظ ابن الزيتوني، سبط ابن الواثق: سمع ابن الحصين وأبا بكر البزّاز وسمع بخراسان من محمد بن الفضل الفراوي وعبد الجبار بن محمد الخواري ولزم مسجدا كان يعظ فيه ويروي على طريقة حسنة، سمع منه خلق كثير: أبو الحسن الزيدي وأبو المحاسن الدمشقي. وحدثنا عنه أبو طالب عبد الرحمن بن محمد الهاشمي بكتاب «أسباب النزول» للواحدي، ولد سنة اثنتين وخمسمائة ببغداد وتوفي في رمضان سنة ثلاث وسبعين.
