    ٤٠٩٥ - أبو عبد الرَّحمَن، ويقال: أبو عَمرو الأَسوَد بن يَزِيد بن قَيس، النَّخَعِي، الكُوفِي: أخو عبد الرَّحمَن ابن أخي عَلقَمَة بن قَيس، وكان أسن من عَلقَمَة، وخال إِبراهِيم بن يَزِيد، وكلهم من بَنِي بَكر من النَّخَع. سمع: أبا بَكر الصِّدِّيق، وعُمَر الفاروق [٢٥/ب]، ﵄. رَوَى عنه: أبو عِمران إِبراهِيم بن يَزِيد النَّخَعِي، وابنه عبد الرَّحمَن بن الأَسوَد الكُوفِي، وعَمرو بن عبد الله أبو إِسحاق الهَمدانِي. حدثنِي عَلي بن محمد، حدثنا محمد، يَعنِي ابن عَبدُوس، حدثنا محمد، يَعنِي ابن عبد الله بن نُمَير، قال عَلقَمَة بن قَيس أبو شِبل: الأَسوَد، يُكنَى أبا عبد الرَّحمَن.
