    ٣٧٥٨ - أبو عبد الله، ويقال: أبو عَلِيٍّ حِبان بن عَلي العنَزِي، من أنفسهم، الضَّرِير، الكُوفِي، أخو مِندَل: عن: سُهَيل بن أبي صالِح السَّمان المَديني، وعُقَيل بن خالِد الأَيلِي. ليس بالقوي عندهم. رَوَى عنه: أبو نُعَيم الفَضل بن دُكَين التَّيمِي، وأبو جَعفَر محمد بن سُلَيمان بن حَبِيب الأَسَدِي. أخبرنا محمد بن عِيسى، أخبرنا مُوسى، أخبرنا خَلِيفَة (¬١)، قال: حِبان بن عَلِي، عَنَزِي، من أنفسهم، يُكنَى أبا عبد الله. سمعت أبا الحُسَين الغازِي يقول: سمعت محمد، يَعنِي ابن إِسماعِيل البُخارِي يقول (¬٢): حِبان بن عَلِيٍّ، ليس عندهم بالقوي.
