    ٣٢٧١ - أبو شَيبَة إِبراهِيم بن عُثمان بن خَواستِي، العبسِي، الكُوفِي، قاضي واسِط: يروي عن: أبي محمد الحَكَم بن عُتَيبَة الكِندِي، وأبي المُغِيرَة سِماك بن حَرب البَكرِي. ⦗٢٢٢⦘ ليس بالقوي عندهم. رَوَى عنه: أبو خالِد يَزِيد بن هارُون السُّلَمِي، وأبو عَمرو شَبابَة بن سَوار الفَزارِي. سمعت محمد بن إِبراهِيم ين شُعَيب الغازِي يقول: سمعت محمد، يَعنِي ابن إِسماعِيل البُخارِي يقول (¬١): إِبراهِيم بن عُثمان العبسِي، قاضي واسِط، سكتوا عنه. أخبرنا أبو بَكر محمد بن محمد بن سُلَيمان، حدثنا محمد، يَعنِي ابن أَبان الواسِطِي، حدثنا إِبراهِيم بن عُثمان أبو شَيبَة.
