    ٣١٥٤ - أبو السَّرِي سَورَة بن زُهَير، الخُراسانِي: كُتِبَ عنه بالإِسكَندَرِيَّةِ. عن: أبي سَلَمَة مِسعَر بن كِدام الهِلَالي، ومُقاتِل. روى عنه: أبو الحَسَن أَحمَد بن سَيار المَروَزِي. أخبرنا أبو حَفص عُمَر بن أَحمَد بن عَلي الجَوهَرِي، حدثنا أَحمَد بن سَيار، حدثنا أبو السَّرِي سَورَة بن زُهَير، وهو رجل من خُراسان، بالإِسكَندَرِيَّةِ أُرِيدَ عَلَى أَن يَتَكَلَّمَ عَلَى المِنبَرِ بَخَلقِ القُرآنِ، فامتَنَعَ، وَكانَ مُسِنًّا.
