٣١٢٨ - أبو سُفيان وَكِيع بن الجَراح بن مَلِيح بن عَدِي بن فَرَس بن جمجمة، الرُّؤاسِي، الكُوفِي: من قَيس عَيلَان، أصلهم من نَيسابُور، من قرية من قرى أُستُوا. مات بفَيد منصرفًا من الحج. سمع: أبا عبد الله إِسماعِيل بن أبي خالِد البَجَلِي، وأبا محمد سُلَيمان بن مِهران الكاهِلِي. رَوَى عنه: أبو عبد الرَّحمَن عبد الله بن المُبارَك الحَنظَلِي، وأبو زَكَرِيا يَحيَى بن آدَم القُرَشِي الكُوفِي. أخبرنا أبو العباس الثَّقَفِي قال: سمعت عبد الله بن عُمَر، يَعنِي ابن محمد بن أَبان بن صالِح الجُعفِي، قال: قلت لوَكِيع: يا أبا سُفيان.
