    ٢٩٨٩ - أبو سُلَيمان داوُد بن نُصَير، الطائِي، الكُوفِي: ⦗٦٦⦘ سمع: أبا محمد سُلَيمان بن مِهران الكاهِلِي، وحَبِيب بن أبي عمرة القَصاب الكُوفِي. رَوَى عنه: أبو محمد سُفيان بن عيينه الهِلَالي، وأبو عبد الله مُصعَب بن المِقدام الخَثعَمِي. أخبرنا أبو اللَّيث سَلم بن مُعاذ بن سَلم التَّمِيمِي، حدثنا عَلي بن حَرب، حدثنا إِسماعِيل بن أَبان، عن إِسماعِيل بن أبي حَبِيبَة، قال: دخلت على داوُد الطائِي، وقد حجمه حجام، وهو يقول: لتأخذنه والحَجام يأبى، فقلت له: يأمرك أبو سُلَيمان وتأبى؟ قال: تأمر لي بدِينار ليس تملك غيره، قلت: خذه، فأخذه من تحت المصلى وخرج.
