١٥٨١ - أبو الحَسَن عَلي بن عابِس، الأَزرَق، الكُوفِي، بَياع المُلَاء: يروي عن: أبي عبد الله إِسماعِيل بن أبي خالِد البَجَلِي، وأَبان بن تَغلِب الكُوفِي. ⦗٢٩٩⦘ ليس بالقوي عندهم. رَوَى عنه: أبو محمد عبد الله بن وَهب /١٣١ ب/ الفِهرِي، وأبو عبد الله أَصبَغ بن الفَرَج المِصرِي. سمعت محمد بن يَعقُوب يقول: سمعت العباس، قال: سمعت يَحيَى يقول (¬١): عَلي بن عابِس، ليس بشيء. أَخبَرَنِي أبو جَعفَر محمد بن عبد الرَّحمَن الضَّبِّي، قال: قرأت على ابن رِشدِين، يَعنِي أَحمَد بن محمد بن الحَجاج، حدثنِي يَحيَى بن سُلَيمان الجُعفِي، قال: كنية عَلي بن عابِس أبو الحَسَن.
