    ١٤٦٦ - أبو حَفص، ويقال: أبو بَكر الرَّبِيع بن صَبِيح، السَّعدِي مولاهم، البَصرِي: سمع: أبا سعيد الحَسَن بن أبي الحَسَن الأَنصارِي، وأبا محمد عَطاء بن أبي رَباح الفِهرِي المَكِّي. تركه أبو سعيد يَحيَى بن سعيد القَطان. ورَوَى عنه: أبو عبد الله سُفيان بن سعيد الثَّورِي، وأبو سُفيان وَكِيع بن الجَراح الرُّؤاسِي. كَناهُ لَنا: محمد بن سُلَيمان، حدثنا محمد بن إِسماعِيل (¬١). سمعت أبا الحُسَين الغازِي يقول: سمعت عَمرو بن عَلي يقول: قد كان عبد الرَّحمَن، يَعنِي ابن مَهدِي يُحَدِّثُ عن الرَّبِيع بن صَبِيح، وكان يَحيَى، يَعنِي ابن سعيد القَطان، لا يُحَدِّثُ عنه (¬٢).
