١٤٥٧ - أبو حَفص عُمَر بن أبي شُجاع، الوَراق: عن: أبي عبد الله إِسماعِيل بن أبي خالِد الأَحمُسِي. رَوَى عنه: أبو عبد الرَّحمَن عبد الله بن عُثمان العتَكِي (¬١). حديثه في أهل مرو. أخبرنا أبو حَفص عُمَر بن أَحمَد بن عَلي الجَوهَرِي، حدثنا محمد بن عَبدَة، أخبرنا عبد الله بن عُثمان، أخبرنا عُمَر بن أبي شُجاع الوَراق أبو حَفص، عن إِسماعِيل بن أبي خالِد، عن وَهب، قال: قال لي عَلِي: "يا وَهب، أَلَا أُخبِرُكَ بِخَيرِ هَذِهِ الأُمَّةِ بَعدَ نَبِيِّها ﷺ (¬٢)؟ أبو بَكر، وَعُمَرُ".
