١٤١٤ - أبو جَروَل، ويقال: أبو صُرد، زُهَير، الجُشَمِي: وكان رئيس قومه، وكان شاعِرًا، أَسَرَهُ رسول الله ﷺ يوم حُنَين، فأنشده قُصَيدة استنقذ بها نفسه، وما كان معه من الذراري والأموال. أخبرنا أبو بَكر محمد بن حَمدُون بن خالِد، قال: حدثنِي أبو محمد عُبَيد الله بن ⦗٢٢٩⦘ رُماحِس بن محمد بن خالِد بن حَبِيب بن قَيس بن عَمرو، حدثنا أبو عَمرو زِياد بن طارِق الجُشَمِي، قال: سمعت زُهَيرا أبا جَروَل، وبيَّناه في باب أبي صُرَد بَيانا شافيًا.
