    ٦٢١ - أبو أثاية (¬١)، الأَزدِي، قوله. حَدَّث عنه: أبو جُحَيفَة وَهب الخَير السُّوائِي. حديثه في الكُوفِيِّينَ. أخبرنا أبو يُوسُف محمد بن سُفيان الصَّفار، حدثنا سعيد، يَعنِي ابن رَحمَة الأَصبُحِي، قال: سمعت ابن المُبارَك، عن مِسعَر، قال: أَخبَرَنِي أبو بَكر بن عَمرو بن عُتبَة، أنه سمع أبا جُحَيفَة يقول: "إنا لمتوجهون إلى مِهران، ومعنا رجل من الأَزد، يُقال له: أبُو أثاية، فجعل يبكي، فقلنا: أجزع هذا؟ قال: لا، ولكن تركت أثاية، يَعنِي ابنه في الرحل، فوددت أنه كان معي فدخلنا الجنة جميعًا".
