    ذكر وصول العساكر الإسلامية لما انفتح البحر وطاب الزمان، وجاء أوان عود العساكر إلى الجهاد من الطائفتين، قدم من العساكر الإسلامية خلق كثير، فكان أول من قدم علم الدين سليمان بن جندر، من أمراء الملك الظاهر غازى (¬٣) ولد السلطان صاحب حلب، وكان شيخاً كبيراً مذكوراً، له وقائع، ذو رأى حسن، والسلطان يحترمه ويكرمه لقدم صحبته. ثم قدم بعده مجد الدين بن عز الدين فروخشاه بن شاهنشاه صاحب بعلبك، وتتابعت بعد ذلك العساكر الإسلامية من كل صوب (¬٤).
