    ذكر وصول ملك الألمان إلى بلاد الأرمن وصل إلى الأرمن وملكها يومئذ لافون بن اصطفان بن ليفون (¬٥) فأظهر له الطاعة، ومشى في خدمته إلى أن قرب من طرسوس. وفي المرآة (¬٦): ووصلوا إلى نهر طرسوس فتحصن منه ابن ليفون بقلعة من قلاعه لأنه أرمني وهم روم. قلت التوفيق بين الكلامين، إنه تحصن منه أولا، خوفًا، ثم طلب منه الأمان فأمنه، ونزل إلى خدمته وأقام بواجبه.
