    ذكر محاصرة طبرية وفتحها لما تقدم السلطان إلى طبرية نصب عليها المجانيق ونقب أسوارها، ففتحها يوم الخميس "الرابع عشر" (¬١) من ربيع الآخر، وتمنعت القلعة عليه وبها زوجة القومص، وتقدم الفرنج فنزلوا لُوبيه (¬٢) يوم الجمعة عند طلوع الشمس، وملك المسلمون عليهم الماء، وكان يوماً حاراً، والتهب الغور عليهم، وأضرم مظفر الدين النار في الزرع، وباتوا طول الليل والمسلمون حولهم. فلما طلع الفجر يوم السبت، قاتلوا إلى الظهر، ثم صعدوا (¬٣) إلى تل حطين (¬٤) على ما نذكر الآن.
