    ١٣٧٣ - عبيد الله بن علىّ بن عبد الله الخطيبىّ، أبو إسماعيل بن أبى الحسن (¬*) الفقيه الملقّب بقاضى القضاة ابن قاضى القضاة. من بيت العلم والقضاء، والرّئاسة، والخطابة، والتّقدّم. قدم بغداد (¬١). وحدّث بها عن أبى الطّيّب عبد الرزّاق (¬٢)، وسمع منه أبو عبد الله الحسين بن محمد بن خسروا البلخىّ. ومات مقتولا، قتله بعض الملحدين بهمذان، يوم الجمعة، ثالث صفر، سنة اثنتين وخمسمائة. رحمه الله تعالى. وكان مولده، سنة ثلاث وخمسين وأربعمائة، فى صفر. ويأتى ابنه محمد، وأبوه علىّ، إن شاء الله تعالى. ***
