١٠٨١ - / عبد الله بن محمد بن أحمد بن إسماعيل بن داود، الجمال، أبو محمد، ويعرف كأبيه بابن الرّومىّ (¬*) ولد قبيل التسعين وسبعمائة بالقاهرة، ونشأ بها، فحفظ القرآن الكريم وكتبا، واشتغل بالفقه والعربيّة والفرائض وغيرها على أفاضل زمنه، ودرّس وأفاد، وناب فى القضاء، وحدّث بأخرة، وسمع منه الفضلاء. وكان من أعيان السّادة الحنفيّة، ومن المتقدّمين فى النّيابة. ومات رحمه الله تعالى فى سنة إحدى وستّين وثمانمائة (¬٣). ***
