٨٩٧ - سعد بن خليل بن سليمان الرّومىّ المرزبانىّ، الشيخ سعد الدين (¬***) خازن الكتب بالشّيخونيّة (¬٢)، والخادم الكبير بها. كان عالما، بارعا فاضلا، علاّمة فى الفقه والعربيّة، وغيرهما.قرأ عليه الشيخ ركن الدّين، عمر بن قديد (¬١)، وغيره، ونقل عنه أبحاثا فى «تعاليقه». وله تصانيف فى التصريف، وغيره. مات قتيلا بمدرسة رسلان بالمنشيّة، قتله اللّصوص بسكّين فى بطنه، فى حدود سنة أربع عشرة وثمانمائة، رحمه الله تعالى. ***
