    ٨٥٨ - داود بن كمال القوجوى، الرّومىّ (¬*) أخذ عن المولى لطفى، وابن المؤيّد، وابن الحاجّ حسن، وغيرهم. وصار مدرّسا بعدّة مدارس؛ منها إحدى الثّمان. وولى قضاء بروسة مرتين. وكان من خيار الناس علما، وعملا، واتّباعا للحق. وكانت وفاته بعد الأربعين والتسعمائة، تغمّده الله تعالى برحمته. ***
