٨٣٨ - خلف بن عبد الرحمن بن أحمد بن محمد، أبو المظفّر الخوارزمىّ المولد، ثم المكّىّ (¬*) ولد فى سنة أربع وخمسمائة (¬١)، وورد مرو وتفقّه بها على أبى الفضل عبد الرحمن الكرمانىّ. قال ابن النّجّار: قدم بغداد حاجّا، سنة ستين وخمسمائة، وحدّث بها. وذكر عن أبى سعد أنّه لقيه بخوارزم، وأنّه قدم عليه مرو، سنة إحدى وستين، فعقد المجلس فى الجامع، وأنّه حضر مجلسه. قال أبو سعد: وكان كثير النّكت (¬٢) والفوائد. قال الذّهبىّ: ذكر القاضى عمر بن علىّ الدّبيثىّ، أنّه قدم بغداد سنة أربع وستين وخمسمائة. ***
