    ٤٠٤ - أحمد بن نعسان، الإمام الفاضل، شهاب الدين أبو العباس، البصراوىّ قال اليونينىّ: مولده فى سنة أربع وأربعين وستمائة، بالكفير، من عمل بصرى، وكان فاضلا، ملازما للاشتغال والمطالعة، وحجّ مرّات، ودرّس بالمدرسة الدّماغيّة (¬٣)، وكان مواظبا على الشهادة، والتّردّد إلى القضاة. وحدث عن القاضى شمس الدين بن عطا، بأحاديث من «المسند» و «العلامات». انتهى. ومات سنة أربع عشرة وسبعمائة، بالمدرسة الشّبليّة، ظاهر دمشق، ودفن ضحى يوم الأحد، بسفح قاسيون، رحمه الله تعالى. ***
