٦٤ - إبراهيم بن محمد بن إبراهيم ابن ظهير الدّين-ظهير كوزير-برهان الدّين السّلمونىّ الأصل، القاهرىّ (¬*) والد البدر محمّد. المعروف بابن ظهير. كان والده (¬١) فيما يقال (¬١)، يذكر بالفضيلة. ونشأ ولده هذا فى طلب العلم وتحصيله. وناب عند التّفهنىّ، وولى الشهادة ببعض الدّواوين، وغير ذلك من المناصب، وكان ماهرا فى المباشرة، ذا وجاهة. مات فى يوم الاثنين، ثالث صفر، سنة ثلاث وخمسين وثمانمائة مطعونا، ولم يكمل الستّين، وصلّى عليه من الغد بمصلّى باب النّصر، ودفن بالتّربة المعروفة بهم (¬٢) تجاه تربة يلبغا العمرىّ. انتهى ملخّصا من «الضّوء اللامع (¬٢)»، رحمه الله تعالى. ***
