حنش (¬٥) بن عبد الله الصنعاني من الأبناء، يكنى أبا رشدين. وذكره (الإمام مسلم بن الحجاج القشيري النيسابوري الحافظ) (¬٦) في طبقات التابعين من أهل اليمن [٤٤]، فسماه أبا رشدين الجَنَدي، كان مع علي كرم الله وجهه.وجهه في الكوفة. وولاه ابن الزبير في اليمن، فأُسر وأُتي به عبد الملك بن مروان في وثاق فعفا عنه. ثم انتقل إلى مصر زمن الحجاج وأخيه، ثم انتقل إلى الأندلس. قال الواقدي والشيخ أبو إسحاق (¬١): مات بمصر، وقال الباجي (¬٢) الأندلسي: مات بالأندلس، وكان بسرقسطة، أسس جامعها (¬٣) ومات بها، وقبره عند باب اليهود غربيّ المدينة (¬٤). ومنهم:
