    ٧٩٨ - سعد (¬٢) بن محمد بن محمد بن سعد، أبو الحسن الأنصاريّ الحفّار المقرئ المعمّر. آخر أصحاب أبي الحسن ابن كوثر بالتّلاوة، تلا عليه سنة ثمانين وخمس مئة، وعاش حتّى سمع منه القراءات أبو جعفر ابن الزّبير في سنة خمس وأربعين وستّ مئة. وسمع منه «جامع التّرمذي» عن ابن كوثر عن الكروخيّ. ثم قال في «برنامجه»: مات في صفر سنة ستّ وأربعين. وكان صالحا ثقة عدلا. حدّث عنه شيوخنا: أبو عبد الله بن عياض، ومحمد بن إبراهيمالطّائيّ، وأبو بكر بن حميد القرطبي.
