    ٧٨٩ - سليمان (¬٥) بن أحمد بن سليمان اللّخميّ، أبو الحسين الإشبيليّ، وبعض أصحابه قال فيه: خلف بدل أحمد، وهو جدّ أبي العبّاس ابن سيّد الناس لأمّه. سمع من أبي بكر بن طاهر، وأبي الحسن شريح، وأخذ عنه القراءات. وسمع «صحيح مسلم» من أبي بكر ابن العربيّ. وروى عن أبي القاسم ابن الرّمّاك، وعبد السّلام بن حبيب. وحدّث.وكان مقرئا نحويّا ضابطا مجوّدا؛ أخذ عنه أبو محمد بن حوط الله وأخوه أبو سليمان في سنة ستّ وسبعين، وأبو الحكم بن برّجان المتأخّر، قرأ عليه، ومفرّج بن حسين الضّرير، وغيرهم. قال ابن الزّبير (¬١): أجاز في جمادى الأخرى سنة ثمانين وخمس مئة.
