٧٨٤ - سليمان (¬١) بن يحيى بن سعيد المعافريّ المقرئ، أبو داود القرطبيّ. أخذ عن أبي داود سليمان بن نجاح، وابن الدّوش، وابن البيّاز، وأبي الحسن الحصريّ، وأبي عبد الله بن مفرّج المعروف بالرّيول (¬٢)، لقيه بالجزيرة الخضراء. وروى عنهم، وعن قاسم بن عبد العزيز، وخلف بن مدير. وتصدّر للإقراء بقرطبة والعربيّة، وكان مقرئا محقّقا ماهرا، ويعرف بأبي داود الصّغير. أخذ عنه أبو بكر بن خير، وأبو الحسن بن الضحّاك، وأبو القاسم القنطريّ، وأبو زيد السّهيليّ. توفّي بعد الأربعين.
