٧٢٦ - عليّ (¬١) بن محمد بن عليّ بن محمد بن يحيى الغافقيّ، أبو الحسن الشّارّيّ الأصل، والشارّة: بشرق الأندلس، السّبتيّ. سمع أبا محمد بن عبيد الله فأكثر، وسمع من أبي الحسن بن خير بعض شعره، وأخذ العربيّة عن أبي ذرّ الخشنيّ، وأبي الحسن بن خروف، وسمع بفاس أبا عبد الله الفندلاويّ وجماعة. وأخذ القراءات عن أبي زكريّا الهوزنيّ، وأجاز له أبو زيد السّهيليّ وجماعة، وشارك في فنون، مع الشّرف الظاهر والمروءة. واقتنى من الدّواوين شيئا عظيما. وتوفّي سنة تسع وأربعين وستّ مئة (¬٢). قلت: تلا بالسبع على ابن عبيد الله وأقرأها، تلا عليه ابن الزّبير وبالغ في تفخيمه (¬٣).
