٦٣٥ - عمر (¬٣) بن عبد الله بن عمر السّلميّ، أبو حفص الأغماتيّ، نزيل فاس.روى عن جدّه لأمّه عبد الله بن عليّ اللّخميّ سبط أبي عمر بن عبد البرّ، وأجاز له في صغره، وعن أبي مروان بن مسرّة، وأخذ عن أبي بكر بن طاهر الخدبّ «كتاب سيبويه» تفهّما، وغلب [٧٨ أ] عليه الأدب وفنونه مع جودة الخطّ ونزاهة الأدوات. وولي قضاء تلمسان ثم قضاء فاس، وولي أيضا قضاء إشبيلية، ونال دنيا عريضة. وكان خطيبا مفوّها. روى عنه أبو الرّبيع بن سالم وغيره. وتوفّي في ربيع الأوّل سنة ثلاث وستّ مئة وقد جاوز السّبعين.
