٥٧٩ - عبد الملك (¬٣) بن سلمة بن عبد الملك الأمويّ، مولاهم، الوشقيّ، أبو مروان، ابن الصّيقل.جال في طلب العلم، وأخذ القراءات عن أبي المطرّف ابن الورّاق، وأبي زيد بن حيوة، وأبي الحسن بن شفيع، وأبي القاسم ابن النخّاس، وغيرهم. ولقي أبا محمد بن عتّاب، وأبا بحر، وأبا الوليد بن رشد، وأبا عمران بن أبي تليد، وطائفة، [٦٩ ب] فأخذ عنهم. وتصدّر ببلنسية لإقراء القرآن والنحو مدة. وكان من أهل الضّبط والفصاحة والفهم والفقه. حدّث عنه أبو عمر بن عيّاد، وأبو جعفر بن نصرون، وأبو بكر بن هذيل، وشيخنا أبو عبد الله بن نوح. توفّي سنة أربعين وخمس مئة كهلا.
