٥٥٢ - عبد الرّحمن (¬١) بن عليّ بن أحمد بن عبد الرّحمن، أبو محمد الزّهريّ الإشبيليّ. روى عن أبيه القاضي أبي الحسن، وسمع «صحيح البخاريّ» من أبي الحسن شريح في رمضان سنة أربع وثلاثين وخمس مئة. وعمّر حتّى انفرد بروايته عنه. [٦٦ ب] وهو آخر من حدّث بالسّماع عن شريح، وكثيرا ما كان شيخنا أبو الخطّاب بن واجب يحرّضني على الرّحلة للقائه، فلم يقدّر ذلك. سمع منه جماعة من أصحابنا وتنافسوا في ذلك. وتوفّي في آخر سنة ثلاث عشرة وستّ مئة. وقال ابن الزّبير: مات في عاشر شعبان [سنة اثنتي عشرة وستّ مئة] (¬٢).
