٥٤٧ - عبد الرّحمن (¬٢) بن أحمد بن عبد الرّحمن بن ربيع الأشعريّ، أبو الحسين القرطبيّ. سمع من أبيه، وأبي بكر ابن العربيّ، وأبي جعفر البطروجي، وأبي مروان بن مسرّة، وجماعة. وألّف في مشيخته جزءا مفيدا كتبته عن أبي الرّبيع ابن سالم. وكان ذا عناية بالحديث. أخذ الناس عنه. وولي قضاء إستجة. توفّي سنة خمس وثمانين وخمس مئة، ومولده سنة تسع عشرة. روى عنه ابناه أحمد وربيع، وأبو عامر يحيى، وابنا حوط الله، وابن سالم، وأبو يحيى ابن الفرس، وهو آخر أصحابه (¬٣).
