    ٥١٣ - عبيد الله (¬١) بن عمر بن هشام الحضرميّ الإشبيليّ، أبو محمد وأبو مروان، ويعرف بعبيد. أخذ القراءات عن أبي القاسم ابن النّخّاس، وأبي الحسن عون الله، وغيرهما. وسمع من أبي محمد بن عتّاب، وأحكم العربيّة. وكان شاعرا، نحويّا، جوّالا. تصدّر بمرّاكش للإقراء والتعليم مدة، ثم نزل مرسية وخطب بجامعها. وله تواليف منها: «الإفصاح في اختصار المصباح» و «شرح مقصورة ابن دريد»، وكتاب في قراءة نافع. حدّث عنه أبو ذرّ الخشنيّ واختصّ به. وأخذ عنه القراءات والعربيّة، وأبو عمر بن عيّاد وابنه أبو عبد الله. ولد سنة تسع وثمانين وأربع مئة بقرطبة ثم انتقل من مرسية سنة خمسين وخمس مئة.
