٤٤٤ - عبد الله (¬٢) بن طاهر بن حيدرة بن مفوّز المعافريّ، أبو محمد الشاطبيّ. أخذ القراءات عن أبي الحسن بن أبي العيش، وسمع من أبيه، وأبي إسحاق بن جماعة، وتفقّه بأبي عبد الله بن مغاور وغيره، وأجاز له جماعة. وكان فقيها إماما بصيرا بالشّروط، وقورا. ولي قضاء بلده فجرى على طريقة سلفه الصّالح عدلا وزكاة وحلما وأناة. توفّي سنة سبع وستّين وخمس مئة كهلا.
