٤٠٤ - صفوان (¬٢) بن إدريس، أبو بحر التّجيبيّ المرسيّ الكاتب. أخذ عن أبي عبد الله بن حميد، وأبي العبّاس بن مضاء، سمع عليه «صحيح مسلم». وكان من جلّة الأدباء البلغاء، ومهرة الكتّاب الشّعراء، فصيحا مدركا، جليل القدر. وله رسائل بديعة. وكان من الفضل والدّين بمكان. روى عنه أبو الربيع بن سالم، وأبو عبد الله بن أبي البقاء. توفّي سنة ثمان وتسعين وخمس مئة في شوّال عن سبع وثلاثين سنة وأشهر.
