    ٢٦٤ - محمد (¬٢) بن أحمد بن عبد الله بن هشام الفهريّ، من أهل المريّة، أبو عبد الله ابن الشواش، ويعرف بالذهبيّ. سمع من أبي عبد الله بن سعادة، وأبي بكر بن أبي ليلى، وأبي عبد الله ابن الفرس، وأبي القاسم بن حبيش، وجماعة، وأخذ عن أبي موسى الجزوليّ النّحوي. وقعد لإقراء القرآن والتحديث وتدريس النّحو واللّغات. وكان متواضعا بارع الخطّ. حدّث بمرسية. وتوفّي بالمريّة سنة تسع عشرة. روى عنه (¬٣) بالإجازة ابن مسدي وقال: مات مفتتح سنة ثمان عشرة وستّ مئة، ومولده قبل الأربعين وخمس مئة بيسير. وختم به أهل التفسير والعلوم.
