٢٣ - محمد (¬٢) بن أحمد بن محمد بن مهلّب بن جعفر (¬٣)، أبو بكر القرطبيّ. سمع الكثير من أبي الوليد ابن الفرضيّ، وأخذ عن أبي عبد الله ابن الحذّاء وخلف بن غيث، وجماعة. وكان من أهل الكتابة والبلاغة، له تعليق على «تاريخ ابن الفرضي» (¬٤). وكان ذا حظوة من ملوك الأندلس، ومن بيت وزارة. توفّي في حدود الخمسين وأربع مئة.
